Meet the Moderator

Randy Hobson

No matter what line of the auto reconditioning industry you come from your bound to have something in common with Randy Hobson. Hobson currently hosts the PDR Interviews show on Facebook but started in the auto detailing industry in 1982. He learned PDR in 1994, interior repair and touch up in 1998/1999. He was the founder of DyePro International until 2001. 2006-2012 he was employed with Hi-Tech Industries. Hobson was awarded the 2017 PDR Mentor of the year award at MTE. He is also a member of NAPDRT and has been certified as a Master Technician through ARC. Hobson currently specializes assisting companies around the US in Storm Management and is the National Storm Director for Dents Express based out of St. Louis, MO. You can see him every Monday morning as he releases interviews with PDR Technicians on his PDR Interviews show on Facebook. 

Meet the Legends

Bob McKee

Robert “Bob” McKee is the founder and former owner of Palm Beach Motoring Accessories, the parent company of Autogeek.net, and the founder and CEO of McKee’s 37 Car Care. McKee’s 37 is a Stuart, Florida-based manufacturer of fine automotive surface care products, and also includes McKee’s RV, a line created specifically for the unique surface care needs of RVs and motor coaches. Although Bob is largely credited with the success of Autogeek and McKee’s 37, he credits much of that success to his team and the many relationships forged along the way.

Tom Price

Owner at Disaster Authorities and President of DentNetwork, Inc.

Tom has been involved in all aspects of PDR since his entrance into the industry in 1992. He was trained by Natalio Balderrama, the founder of Dent Wizard and the first recognized PDR tech in the U.S.  During his 28 years in PDR  Tom has won numerous awards and accolades with emphasis on quality repairs and professionalism. He is a Vale National Certified MasterCraftsman, NAPDRT member, PDR Nation certified, ARC Certified Master Tech, PDR industry author and co-founder of the International Dent Olympics. Tom is also the co-founder of the PDR Coach DVD’s and continuing education, tool designer, professional trainer and mentor of over 200 PDR techs and is an annual presenter at the MTE Trade Expos. Tom currently runs a family based mobile hail repair business and has a permanent retail hail repair center. He resides in Johnstown, Colorado with his wife Lisa.

Mike Phillips

Director of Training at Autogeek.net

Mike gained his extensive detailing knowledge while working for Meguiar’s as a Trainer for Oregon, Washington and Northern Idaho. In the spring of 2009, Mike stepped down from his position at Meguiar’s and made the move to Autogeek in Stuart, Florida to take on the job of teaching Autogeek’s detailing classes.

Today, Mike is one of the foremost experts on auto detailing and paint restoration. Mike’s expertise is in machine polishing to remove swirls, scratches and other paint defects to create a flawless show car finish. He also teaches classes on wet-sanding, cutting and buffing custom paint jobs as well as being the only person in the industry with how-to article and procedure for restoring antique, original single stage paint on classic, antique, and special interest cars. Mike has hosted six full-length instructional how-to videos for Autogeek and “What’s in the Garage?”.

Mike has taught countless detailing classes since 1987 and has been a guest speaker at numerous car club events and car shows around the United States as well as in other countries and authored five how-to books on car and boat detailing.
