Mike gained his extensive detailing knowledge while working for Meguiar’s as a Trainer for Oregon, Washington and Northern Idaho. In the spring of 2009, Mike stepped down from his position at Meguiar’s and made the move to Autogeek in Stuart, Florida to take on the job of teaching Autogeek’s detailing classes.
Today, Mike is one of the foremost experts on auto detailing and paint restoration. Mike’s expertise is in machine polishing to remove swirls, scratches and other paint defects to create a flawless show car finish. He also teaches classes on wet-sanding, cutting and buffing custom paint jobs as well as being the only person in the industry with how-to article and procedure for restoring antique, original single stage paint on classic, antique, and special interest cars. Mike has hosted six full-length instructional how-to videos for Autogeek and “What’s in the Garage?”.
Mike has taught countless detailing classes since 1987 and has been a guest speaker at numerous car club events and car shows around the United States as well as in other countries and authored five how-to books on car and boat detailing.
