Complete the contest entry form (download Order Form from our website at www.mobiletechexpo.com) and FAX or Mail acopy to Mobile Tech Expo.
The entry fee for the Leather Repair Contest is $20.00.
After Mobile Tech Expo receives your entry form and payment, Mobile Tech Expo will send you a "contestant package" containingthe following items.;
1. Receipt for entry
2. Contest Information
3. A damaged leather sample
The TOP of each damaged leather sample will contain an identification number written on tape.
The damaged leather sample will have two holes in it and you are to repair / restore the holes on the TOP SIDE only. The tape with the identification number must not be removed and or altered in any way whatsoever during the repair and or restoration process. The identification tape must be in place when the repaired sample it returned to Mobile Tech Expo. Removal and or alteration of the identification tape will result in the forfeiture of the entry fee and disqualify the entrant.
Judging will be based on overall craftsmanship, including
1. Repair Quality
2. Color Match
3. Grain / Texture
4. Flexibility
5. Durability
Completed entries of the repaired / restored leather samples must be at the Mobile Tech Expo offices no later than December 31, 2008.
Included with your entry, please remember to include the following, two (2) of your Business Cards and a copy of your company
Letterhead or a blank invoice showing your company name, address, phone number and so on.
You may enter as many different vehicles and or trailers as you like. However, each entry requires a separate entry form, photographs and $20.00 entry fee.
You can mail your entry by U.S. Mail, Federal Express, or UPS. However, please remember the contest dates and that entries received after December 31, 2008, will not be in our hands in time for processing.
Remember, Mobile Tech Expo is not responsible for delays in transit so enter early. It is the responsibility of each entrant to comply with the stated rules, including sending in all of the materials as specified and to follow all contest rules and cut off dates.
The contest is open to all Leather Restoration Specialists in both Wholesale and Retail.
Please Note: Employees of leather dye, coloring and or restoration supply companies are ineligible for this contest.
All entries will be judged anonymously. Judging will be done by Independent sources and all decisions are final.
Winners will be announced on Saturday, the last day of the Expo and you do not need to be present to win. However, Winners are responsible for all shipping and handling charges for any awards and or prizes.
